| On December 11-12, 2011, the Metropolis of Detroit held its annual Open House and Reception celebrating the nameday of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas. Sunday, December 11, the Metropolis was open to guests with refreshments available. Great Vespers in honor of our Chapel's Patron Saint, Spyridon the Wonderworker of Trymithous, was celebrated in the evening. On Monday, December 12, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Chapel for the Feast Day of St. Spyridon followed by a small reception. | |
